Note: Annual membership fees go to cover Pony Club Australia and Pony Club Association of Queensland and our club fees. These fees cover insurance, training materials for coaches, volunteers, and members at club, zone, state and national events. In addition, there is a muster fee (attendance fee) for each club muster.
3. If I am just watching a friend or family member ride, can I wear open shoes or thongs? Due to WHS, all people attending the HVPC grounds must wear enclosed shoes.
4. What time do Musters commence? Musters may commence at different times to allow for weather conditions or temperatures. Check the HVPC Facebook page to confirm times. As a guide, gates open for winter musters at 8am for a 9am start and 7am for an 8am start in summer.
5. I'm a beginner or nervous rider, can I come to pony club? Yes, pony club encourages nervous and/or beginner riders. Pony club is a wonderful environment to build friendships and encourage each other to learn and thrive.
6. If I'm attending an event or muster in a high-risk fire ant area, can I bring hay with me? Refer to the QLD Fire ant & Biosecurity webpage for information on taking hay into different zones.

8. Can I use a Western Saddle at pony club? Swinging Fender and Stock saddle may be used for all events except high level jumping. Western saddles with horns can be used at rally days but not in competitions and not jumping over 30cms.
9. What helmets are suitable for pony club? Helmets should be replaced every 5 years. Check when purchasing a helmet the date of manufacture.
